Our Mission

Heartland Connections is a venture formed from the idea that music is a vehicle that elevates our communities socially, culturally, and economically. From our previous music ventures, we have learned that making connections between people and groups has a tendency to create win-win scenarios that not only benefit those within the connected sphere but also the fabric of our communities at large. Through making and fostering connections between non-profit and for-profit groups, the fabric of our communities can change. This can be on a business to business scenario, business to social/cultural, social to social and any and all in between. Examples may include:

• Connecting musicians to venue opportunities.
• Connecting venue opportunities to media opportunities.
• Connecting audiences to musicians, musicians to audiences, both to media and more.
• Non-profits to resources in the business and musician communities.
• Businesses to Non-profits where beneficial partnerships exist.
• And more!

The possibilities are endless through multiple people and entities working with each other to make their communities better places to live. As an entity, ”Heartland Connections” intends to be that source for these connections, starting with being a hub for the performing arts/music scene in West Central Illinois and possibly beyond! This will be done through our own Heartland Connections “Live” Events and Heartland Connections Family Member Events, which are connected entities hosting entertainment in the area in partnership with our platform.

Some of our connected partnership examples include, Mediacom, Regional Media, Quad Cities Arts, Galva Arts Council, Galesburg Community Foundation, Done Right TV, River Music Experience, Peoria Music Live, NPR, PBS and a host of artists both national and international. We will strive to connect these content rich events so the….
• Public can benefit from the social and cultural experiences.
• Non-profit and for-profit groups can interact with each other and the public, to elevate not only their groups & businesses but also the community and the lives of the citizens.
• Performers benefit from the great experiences and connections they make.

Heartland Connections looks to be the source for the public to find out about great performing events they can attend in the area. These include, Heartland Connections at-Ca d’zan House Concerts & Bishop Hill Creative Commons Concerts, Levitt Amp Galva Music Series, The Back Road Music Festival, The Heritage Bluegrass Festival & more. Through our social media platforms and general media, the public will have an easy, single source where they can find out about entertainment in the area without having to spend time searching. And, as mentioned before, different groups will have a place to make new connections that can benefit all! Our grand idea is one that is not static and is ever evolving and changing as we learn, adapt and make new connections. We hope you will take a chance to enjoy our hosted and family hosted events, and also hope you find us a great resource to make those connections that enhance the social, cultural and economic lives of our citizens and business community. Thank you!
